Hello again. Well, we've determined that I do not have a leak behind the shower wall but I can still get the stray carpenter ant coming from behind the shower wall through the diverter knob. I pushed in a bunch of cotton in any area where I could feel space. Even with that, one was walking across the tube a few days ago. If I caulk and close up all ways for them to get through there, am I in danger of them doing damage inside the wall? Do I need to put something behind the wall? We haven't located any on the base of the house or the roof. Any thoughts? Thank you again for this helpful and sane board. Marcia
