Well, it's silly to worry about a couple of ants, even in the winter. Oh, sure, a bunch of exterminators might say you have "a problem" because of the winter sightings, but I think you'd be smarter to wait things out. I'm not saying it isn't possible, anything's possible.

Keep a log on what you observe, so that you (or an exterminator) can assess (perhaps) where or what the problem is. Keep that log right into the spring and summer, and I think you'll have some sort of an answer by then

And Kory, as far as answering by email, I prefer that my answers are available to everyone, right on this message board. I don't mind letting you know by email that there's an answer to your post, if you leave a valid email address, and your request that I do so.
