Hi John.

Unfortunately I have a disappointing update for you on the ant condition here. Up until today, I had not seen any ants in the house for about 6 months. The last time I saw any was in October, about a month after you sprayed Termidor. As the weather kept warming up, I was waiting and waiting to see if any showed up, because I so wanted to be able to give you good news when I did report back. Tonight, around 8PM, after seeing no sign of ants in the house for 6 months, I was out in the mud room and noticed a carpenter ant crawling up the inside of the window screen. I looked around and noticed two more on the floor. I went back about a half hour later, and to my horror saw a lot of them (at least 20 or so) crawling up out of a large crack in the mud room floor. I admit I lost it and I got out the Terro spray and sprayed every one of the suckers I could see. I also sprayed Terro in the crack and on the floor around the crack. Then I took a towel and shoved it up against the crack. I know this doesn't solve the problem, but I am so mad that it looks like those little buggers are coming back in full force. I know we live under trees and near woods, but I was so hoping the Termidor would do the trick. Please tell me, do we need to/can we please get on some kind of spraying plan with Unexco? Immediately??? I am so not up to going through this battle with the carpenter ants for a third year! Please help!

Karen
