Toilets are cheap. Home Depot sells them for under $100.
Your french doors are leaking? Fix it. If you take trim off, vacuum any ants that emerge, don't worry about a "nest," they really don't have a defined nest, just LOTS of ants. Vacuum any you encounter, never mind the Raid, Black Flag, whatever. That stuff is NASTY and you don't want it all over everything.
Plug up access points? Not without finding "The Problem." Do it right. Investigate the leaks and fix them. Leave things apart for awhile and see if you have fixed everything.
Don't worry about the ants, they are harmless. It's the WATER LEAKS that are the bad guys. Do this right and you won't need exterminators OR chemicals.
