Sounds like just foraging workers - NBD. It's only a big deal when you see, like, HUNDREDS. Not much you can do for a few workers, you can always see some of those.

Using those bait pucks for ants, get the ones with the AI of Fipronil. If they're old, dip them in some warm water before you put them out.

Don't worry or bother with a few foragers.
