Regardless of whether the non-winged ones can be baited, the conditions that attracted them there are still there. THAT'S what you need to concentrate on, the conditions that attract them. Water or moisture set up perfect conditions for the ants, and even if you eliminate ALL the ants, they will soon find those same conditions again and will return.
So. Your thrust is to FIX the water/moisture problem, and, in the course of doing that, you'll fix the ant problem - probably without using any insecticides at all.
The best (and cheapest) thing to do is to use your vacuum, save your money and wait until the best time/weather to do any repairs/replacements. Use a GOOD contractor and windows/skylights with lifetime guarantees - many will do that.
