Congratulations on the honest exterminator! They are getting harder and harder to find, but they ARE out there...

No need to do anything (chemical) with the ties. Just don't put them up against the house! :)

Once the ties get "old," they will attract the ants, just remember that. Don't bother treating them when that happens, just replace them.

Have an old friend in Columbus, we always make a stop at City BBQ when I'm there! One of my favorite places in Columbus. Been about two years - time for another visit!
