My old threads are too long. Hi John, I hope this finds you well. We are coming to the end of the rains here, I write on this rainy Ca day. When I have my handyman remove the wood framing on the windows that perhaps have moisture to entice the carpenter ants into the walls, breeding, flying out, etc for years now...anyway, just trying to be prepared. He takes the wood off, inspects, he may or may not see obvious ant activity. Should he put some kind of dust or I have this liquid spray that has a thin straw like thing that is for carpenter ants, should we try to put anything down into the wall voids if we can see them or just look for the ants and moisture in the wood to replace? I want to be prepared when we are up there on the roof with things removed. Thank you. Be well.
