Anxious? Don't be. They're harmless. The winged ones are swarmers, they're just looking to get outside, in the big, wide world. Sweep them up with a Kleenex or something, they won't bite or sting. They also won't take any bait, they just want to get OUT!
Give it a week or two, it should all settle down. Remember, they are not dirty, do not carry or vector any diseases, and like I said, harmless.
The other ants are just "mentoring" the swarmers, they will disappear too. Just don't get caught in panic mode, very dangerous - for you! When an exterminator (or anyone) starts using any scare tactics, get rid of him, find another. Forget the biggies, get a local guy, one that will give you "on-call" service without "contracts."
Really ethical exterminators are getting more difficult to find...
