Good afternoon sir:
*Repost as new message*
This week.... I've found 2 or 3 CA's on the floor.. but of smaller size than at the beginning of this.. and they are not very vigorous, more immobile..... Does this mean I may in deed have a nest in the house? I've had the exterior of the house + 10 feet around sprayed with Cyfluthrin on June 22.. and am still seeing the occasional ant in the house. So they probably can't be coming from the outside... why do I still see a couple over 1 month after spraying by an exterminator. I have inspected the whole house and cannot see evidence of a nest... can they still be coming from outside even after spraying ? Or could some have survived in the house (in a wall somewhere) since they first came in the house in June.. and are now coming out to die because of the absence of food source ? What I don't understand is why I am now seeing a bit smaller ants than in the beginning ? Is Cynfluthrin as effective as the Termidor you mention.
If I really did have a nest in the house.. I would expect alot more activity than I've been seeing in the past couple of weeks.. Nonetheless, I am still seeing a couple... which has me quite worried. As well, I must add that I have not had any water damage in my home, so I don't think my house would be of interest for a colony. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and have a wonderful day !
