Outside? Don't worry about it... Also spray around the downstairs window & door frames too.
If you buy Termidor, get the SC formulation, the smallest amount you can buy is about $80 or so, get a one gallon plastic sprayer from Wal-mart or someplace, don't pay more than about 15-20 bucks. Mix according to instructions, a little less than an ounce per gallon, and whatever diluent you DON'T use, it's good for about two or three weeks, after that it's NG. Try to use all of what you mix up, don't spray bushes (tree trunks ok) and no flowers or flowering or blooming bushes at the time of bloom. Refrain from spraying anything that bees visit.
Don't use the sprayer for anything else than the Termidor, and don't drink any. Well, you can drink a little, but not a lot...
Try and go in it with someone, that $80 bottle will make about 25 gallons of diluent! After the bottle is 2-3 years old, or gets lumpy or clumps up, it's NG. Keep the bottle out of the sunlight and out of the heat.
Now you're an exterminator!
