Termidor is for ants AND termites. And there is NEVER a time that you should be in a hurry - don't let them hustle you!

The "loose dirt" is what the ants have excavated from under the slab. They are harmless and have nothing to do with the structure. You could vacuum then dirt (and ants) or leave them alone. Or treat them yourself.

Get back to me if you want to do that.

And the salesman will add an extra layer of cost to the charge you get. Some will try to scare you into nonsense treatments too.
