I ditched the baits and cleaned and scrubbed the whole area beneath my cabinets more than a week ago.
And now, ten days later, I have more ants than ever before.
Can't go downstairs without meeting at least six or eight. And they're huge. Almost an inch long- the kind that if you knock them off the counter you can hear them hit the floor.

Enough of them seem dazed and slow that I wonder if I'm seeing the death of a colony here, but I can't figure out why the poison is still kicking in three weeks after I laid it down, or why there are so many more ants around now.

I'll get some glueboards.
