Yes, it can take a week or two. Maybe longer, seeing as how you used a repellant to treat the outside. Oftentimes, repellants can trap insects inside, since they don't like to cross repellants.

And you might have another nest somewhere... (It gets tricky sometimes!)

I would say to give it another week or two, lay off the insecticides until those couple of weeks are up, to see what's going on. Doing the Termidor thing right now won't be advantageous right now. Besides, you may have ended the problem anyway. Sometimes just disturbing a nest can cause it to decamp and leave.

And don't forget; this is ANT SEASON! So a few probably won't mean much, so don't panic.

You should know in a couple of weeks if you'll have to any more killing!
