Tell your leasing office, with all these problems, if you don't get RELIEF, you're going to call the health dept. Heat in the slab? Yes, could actually make the problem worse...
You're near a big city, good. You can probably get what you need locally. Can't give you a name of OTC insecticidal baits - they change names too often. Look for Fipronil on the label. You can use gel baits or those plastic bait pucks, just make sure it contains Fipronil. Use bottle caps to put the gel in, you can easily move them around to a problem area. Don't be upset when you see MORE, it's supposed to work like that. Keep the bait available until they start thinning out. Might take a few days, or even more. If you're using the puck, dip them in warm water before use, you don't know how long they've been in stock.
One thing you want to remember... DON'T buy a condo that has multiple tenants. The more people you have living in "your house," the more problems you're likely to have, I get SO MANY complaints. You're usually much better off living in a single-unit abode! Also remember that although you live in your own condo, any bugs or problems the OTHER people in "your house" have, they also have easy access to all those other units in your building...
DON'T get anxious, upset, crazy, or terrified. It doesn't help lol. Really. If you could ride around in my truck for a few days, you'd laugh about what you're terrified of now. Believe it!
Get back with any problems.
