Alvin and company are defying my attempts to trap them. I've got a havahart trap that they are removing the bait from without triggering the trip plate. The door is set so it should take only he lightest of touches to spring, but yet they are eating quite well without getting caught. They are living in the planter boxes attached to raised patios on both sides of my attached unit. Both neighbors are oblivious to the issue and don't particularly care that the critters are eating more of my tomatoes than I am. Any advice?
