My finished basement was infested with these big, ugly Cave Crickets this year. I got a late start in dealing with them, using Delta dust behind the finished wall cavities and above the drop ceiling. This really seemed to help get them under control, but not entirely eliminate them.

However, within the last week or so, they seem to have disappeared. I'm guessing that they've died off for this year, but maybe my control efforts have paid off. John, do you have any idea about this----would their life cycle mean that they have died by August?

Also, I've resolved that next year, I'll start treating for these early, maybe around March, so that I catch them early in their life cycle.

John, besides Delta dust, what else should I be doing to eliminate or prevent Cave Crickets? By the way, I can't figure out where they are coming in.

Thanks,

Rob
