Hi there,
I live in New Orleans where the roaches get big. My husband, two children & I live in a house we rent, and we've noticed over time a slow increase in the number of sightings of these ghastly enormous creatures. (I suppose I should be lucky it's not the "little ones," which I understand are harder to get rid of. But I'm tired of running across these things at night, and there is now evidence that they have started meandering in my kitchen drawers, which really upsets me.

My concern is that I have a 6 month old baby, and I'm really worried about pesticides, particularly in our kitchen where we eat and do so much living (baby crawling, playing, etc.) On the other hand, the infestation of these creatures is beginning to worry me more.

I've read your descriptions about how treatment should occur. But what info can you share about the best way to go about getting rid of these awful things without contaminating our dishware, floors, etc. with pesticide? And what do you do when there's evidence of them in your kitchen cabinets? The thought of these things crawling through my silverware keeps me up at night.

Thanks in advance!
