I do think I have a big citronella ant problem, but at least they are harmless. As you know in the past I have seen the winged ants come out from the slab in my house, and from the vents coming from the slab, for a few springs.
The ants are coming in from two spots in my kitchen. One is from one spot in the base molding by my table and I see them coming in from the outside, so no big deal there. They are also coming if from between the sink cabinet and the side cabinet and also from a small gap in the window sill above the sink. I have a feeling they are coming up from the slab and up the wall as I do not see these on the outside at all. I know once you said that the treatment for this is the same as termites, which I do not want to do due to the vents in the slab. :C(
Anyway... in the past it was a handful on the kitchen floor. This spring it was hundreds if they found anything sweet in the sink, garbage, or dishwasher. The traps stopped that three times this year so far.
