I found this web site looking up box elder bugs for a friend. I wanted to post that I have had my box elder bug problem cured. I keep a small flock of chickens. The chicks that hatched last spring seem to have developed a taste for box elder bugs. One poor little hen is so addicted that she spends most of the day digging under rocks at the base of the maple tree looking for more.
