Well, tried Malathion mixed just a little stronger than the couple tablespoons per gallon recommended by the manufacturer. A couple days after directly spraying the hundreds of critters and suspected hideouts, there were not hundreds of carcasses on the ground. There remains a lot of BEBs on my house though. Guess I will go back to soap and wash them thoroughly :-)
One positive aspect: finding any cracks where they get in the house is also an obvious place where I am losing heat. Kind of an energy saving beetle. Friendly too - when I spray they land on my arms, however they need to stay outside. I am wondering why my neighbors do not have them on their houses. They have vinyl siding where I have faux stone face. My guess is, my house is warmer.
