Glad I don't have my sister's critter problem

My sister lives in southern Georgia on about 80 acres. One of their plagues is from armadillos. Like Kudzu Grass, Fire Ants and other animals, they are not indigenous to Georgia. My sister has no problem using a shotgun but armadillos are chiefly nocturnal. Any suggestions?
I am glad it is too cold in New Jersey for the burrowing creatures. All I have is Box Elder beetles.
