Once again, because its fall, I have mice coming into the house. I normally always see them in the kitchen and can catch them in the same spot. Last year I began using the glue boards because, as much as I do not like using them, it was the only thing that would catch them as they are *really* small. However, this year is the first year I've seen and heard something in my bedroom. Eek. This makes me *extremely* uneasy. I've caught two so far in one week (one in my bedroom and one in the kitchen), and last night we saw another but failed to get it in the glue. We did go around the outside and inside of the house and plug any visible holes, but my house is 100 years old so I don't think I'll ever solve every crack or hole.

What can I do short of putting down the glue? I don't want to use poison as I have a little dog. How many are likely to come into a house in the fall? And what happens in the winter? How can you tell if you have a mouse infestation or just the usual fall mice coming in?
