Some years are worse than others, Robin... You're doing all the right things, keep searching for holes, then patch.

Inside, use the glueboards. Put them in stragically-placed cardboard boxes, cut little holes for the mice to get in, they like to explore. Stick a couple of glueboards in there.

You can use poison the same way, just keep it away from the dog. I like the glueboards better - you see what you get! No die in the wall problems.
