I live in the country, and we found a small mouse in our house, and it was black looking.. . Then today as, I was raking leaves, there was another one slipping around by the garage, they are real small..... The first one would not move, he just sat there... My husband put a shoe box lid over it, and I sprayed the box top with engine cleaner my Son, got a good laugh out of that and said that wouldn't kill it. But guess what it did !!!!!!
