For the past 4 months, I have been tortured by something unseen that bites, itches and results in raised, red, itchy bumps on my skin.

We originally were told they were flea bites because they were in a row, but we've never seen a flea. They seemed to have arrived along with our new kitten.

The house has been sprayed and bombed, both personally and by an exterminator. Nothing works. The exterminator is baffled. The biopsy taken by my dermatologist came back "arthropod (bug)bite". My husband is unaffected, visitors are unaffected.

I do not have lice, scabies, fleas or bed bugs. What else could it be? THe biopsy is nonspecific as to what type of bug. How can I fight what I can't see?
