I just read your carpenter bee section. I've had issues with these things for a few years. I did try that expanding foam trick last year with minimal success. I had treated the holes prior to sealing them. Some of the treatments took a little longer or didn't take at all and I had some bees eat through. Saw that you would like to post pics of this "fix". I can email you some if you'd like.
