When my husband and I were married a couple of years ago we lived in his house that he'd had for 20 years. The camelback crickets were a terrible problem. He was going through so many of those sticky traps and they still didn't put a dent into the problem. I decided to try duct tape instead. I laid down long pieces sticky side up taping them down at each end in the basement along the baseboards and at the doorway leading into the finished area. When it got to a point that there were enough bodies stuck on it for them to walk across safely, I replaced it. After about a month of this, it didn't completely get rid of them, but it did greatly reduce their numbers. Then we'd only see an occasional one. Doncha love duct tape?
