Hi John
I woke up this morning and saw at least 100 mounds of dirt in my front yard. I think they are ground bees, the mounds of dirt looks anthills, 2-3 " in diameter w/ a hole in center about diameter of pencil. I am correct that these are just non threatening ground bees and I should just let them be or could they be some kind of solitary wasps/yellowjackets nests or worse? I thought ground bees came out in March/ April, not this late. And I have never seen so many of these nests before in one area. We are in NE Ohio.
Thanks a bunch.
