Over the last few days I've noticed some bees (either Yellow Jackets or Wasps, can get a good enough look), milling around the side of my home. I noticed in the siding a small hole the size of a screw that they were going into. I had taken down a shutter the previous summer and I thought I plugged up all the holes. I noticed them going into the hole last night and this morning, I noticed one flying inside the house by the window that is near by. I was going to attempt to just spray the hole with wasp & hornet killer and seal up the hole with caulk but decided to call the company that did my home inspection just in case there was a nest in the wall. They are charging me $125 and a 30 day gurantee. Is this a fair price for this type of problem? Or should I just have tried to get rid of them on my own?
