We have recently discovered carpenter bees living in a crack in the concrete, in front of our garage door. They seem to be burrowing deep down into someplace where we cannot get at them. After reading your suggestion on how to get rid of these pest, I can see it will not be an easy task. We will try WD40 tomorrow night.
We were hoping they were a migrating and not a hibernating insect and we would be able to simply plug the big crack. Such is not the case, as they will be there in the spring again.
Could you suggest anything else to get rid of these big bees now, as we need to put our home up for sale in the spring.
Please help!
