Hi John,
This morning I checked the baits that I put out on the tops of water bottles and glass jars. I could not see any signs of anything being eaten, but while I was looking at the one near the TV I saw my first roach in a week right on the TV. The egg casing that I found was right by the TV and all the roaches I saw last week were within a foot of the TV. It is a tube TV with a bunch of vent holes everywhere. I am thinking that there could be a bunch in the TV? I have had two glue traps right against the tv on two sides, but the TV is slightly raised, so they could be missing them. I guess I should put one right on top of the tv.
Should I put the TV in a black garbage bag? Not sure if putting it outside these days will get it up to 125 degrees. How long should I leave it in a bag, or should I do something else?
Would one be able to see if a baby roach ate the gel by looking at it? Do they eat a lot and everyday? The gel's looked like the shape was not disturbed, nor were there any smears. I killed the roach since I did not know if it ate the gel and since I did not want to let it get away.
You mentioned yesterday that I may have gotten them all, but you said that time would tell. I am really hoping that this gel will be 100% effective so that I will never know how well I did last week. Should I be patient or should I get the house sprayed too?
Ken
