But in the afternoon and early evening, as soon as I go outside, I find our concrete driveway absolutely covered with swarms of hideous green bottle flies. I'm at a total loss. The area is clean (no food debris, decaying leaves, dead animals (!) or anything that would likely attract them). I've tried spraying down the driveway with a hose. This works ... until it dries up. Then they're back again. Have tried different aerosol sprays. No use. I'm totally at my wits end - not to mention grossed out big time !! John, do you have any suggestions ?
