Howdy John,

Every year there is a cricket or two that comes into the house. It usually hides behinds something a chirps like crazy and drives us crazy.

This year I have seen and killed about 10 or more. They no longer chirp, but I see them walking across the kitchen floor in the evening. I can take a photo, but they are black and do chirp in the late summer.
