Thanks so much for your message. Unfortunately, we already have the closet door shut and rags stuffed around the spaces around the door. They are somehow still getting into the third floor room - there were about 30 of them dead or dying yesterday. And we have another door shut to the whole third floor. One still got into the 2nd floor nursery (I'm guessing through the air conditioner in the window). We've been killing them with rolled up magazines. We weren't planning on spraying them because we read that would drive them into the house (is that right?) and because of the babies. Will more of them live and come out when it warms up this week? They look like yellow jackets to me. Are there some other kinds of wasps that live through the first hard freeze?
