Last year I saw a couple of camel crickets in the basement which was no big deal. This year however, there are a lot more down there and three (that I've seen) have made it upstairs to our living area. Last night when I went to go to bed, there was one sitting on my pillow. Needless to say, these things really freak me out.

Is calling an exterminator going overboard or will putting stuff down outside help the problem? I don't want to spray anything in the house becasue we have a 4 month old kitten running around. He's a big help catching the crickets when he sees them...caught one in the living room last night.
