Roaches can stand the cold, what they can't stand is the heat. 125 degrees (for sure) and they're dead. So if you can put it in the oven and keep it at 125 degrees or better, for 24 hours, they're toast.

Not sure how cold it needs to be, but it has to get cold FAST to kill them.

If you can, put the items in a clear sealed plastic bag for a few days and see if anything pops out.
