We've had a squirrel problem for a while now. We live in a neighborhood with a lot of oak trees and such. Trapping them outside wouldn't be much good - there are literally dozens on our lawn a day, only a few actually have made our attic their home. We finally decided to get rid of them and have replaced most of the screen in the soffits (all the screen that had holes) with metal screening. However they just keep eating trying to get in - even chewing the wood - and chewing to get out. Yeah, we still have 2 up there and are not sure if they are trapped or if they are getting in some other way. My husband is actually 'making' a trap now and we're going to try to trap the two that are left. I've read that trapping in the attic doesn't work a lot, AND, I'm afraid once we get them all out they are going to keep eating at the house till they find another way in. Any suggestions for keeping them out?
