Hi - in October, we had a yellow jacket nest on our roof. The wasps were flying down through the roof into our 3rd floor closet and then into the 3rd floor bedroom. An exterminator came out and found hundreds flying around the 3rd floor bedroom and many more in the closet. He had a can of spray that he used to kill all the wasps flying around in the closet and bedroom. He then used a dust outside on the roof to kill off the nest.

Is there a chance that there is still residue from the spray in the carpets, furniture, or items in the storage closet? I know it's 5 months later - I'm just unsure how long those products linger in carpet fibers, clothing, etc. We have 2 young children and pets too.
