I had fleas in my apartment last summer and I was able to get them under control with vacuuming and a spray that I bought at Home Depot that works on fleas and bed bugs(and many other kinds of bugs). I now have fleas again. I have been using the spray that worked well last year, but it leaves a lingering odor that smells awful. I did some investigating on the internet as to other ways of controlling the fleas and came across diatomaceous earth. Many sites said to sprinkle it around and them vacuum it a few days later then repeat. Does using it really work and is it something I can use on my bed and couch? I am beginning to get lots of bites so I want to get this under control before it gets out of hand. Any advice you have would be so much appreciated. Thank you so much!
