Yes, you can do it the same way. Depending on the trap, you might have to have a LOT of water....

You can try baiting the trap with marshmallows - that'll keep the neighborhood cats out of the trap, everybody likes to use cat food or sardines. I used to use marshmallows or spoiled hamburger meat - it all depends on what you have available!
