Every year for the past 3 years during the summer we see 1 or 2 roaches by the outside foundation of our home. The first year we saw them probably every week, had someone come spray, then called it good. Last year saw very few so did nothing. This year have probably seen a total of 6 outside, but only 1 or 2 at a time, once or twice a month. We have seen (and killed) 2 in our basement. One we killed was cut in half, we still have it in a jar, was thinking it would be good for identification if needed...

Does it depend on the type of roach how "serious" it is, if you see them outdoors mainly do you have to worry just as much? Everything I read about them makes it seem impossible to stop them completely, not to mention our house was built in 1959 and has an "under the house" which is has several access points and is essentially part of our house. I don't see how we could ever be rid.
