Hello, I have bedbugs in my apartment, and am moving to a new apartment in a month. My apartment has been treated once, and will be treated a second time before I move. I would like to coordinate my efforts with the exterminator, but, my super is not making contact with the exterminator easy. I would like to know how I can effectively treat my furniture by myself (after treatment) before I move it into the new apartment. I have thrown out my couch, and will throw out my bed before moving, but I still have wooden furniture and a few chairs to worry about.
Should I spray the furniture with spray that can be found at the local store prior to moving it? Should I dry-steam my furniture just prior to moving it? What should I do with my school books that I cannot afford to seal up for 2 years? Would a vacuuming be sufficient for my books? Thanks
