Hi John,

I went out the back door about fifteen minutes ago and I got stung. I looked at the area and there are at least 20 wasps/yellow jackets flying around the base area of the house. I doubt my walking out the door stirred them up, but who knows. Only thing I can think of is that perhaps they made a nest in the gutter downspout? Today we got a little rain, first rain in months actually. But would water stir them up and if so for how long. It has been at least an hour and a half since it rained.

I just went out and they are still flying around.

How long does it typically take to calm down? Any idea what to do?

Thanks!

Ken
