I don't think I'd leave them in a car if there was a chance they had roaches.... Take the rcords and put them on a card table in the middle of your back yard. Take each record out, inspect the jackets CLOSELY under a strong light, set them aside and keep on going.

A temp of 125 degrees will kill the insects and the eggs, so you can put all the covers (not the records!) in an oven that's set on 125-130 degrees, leave them in for 24 hours at that temp. All areas of the items must be at 125 degrees.
