I had a question that I'm hoping you could help with. We have had mice in our garage and then they chewed an opening and now in the house. I have since sealed up all holes in garage and exterminator baited the garage and basemen and left traps in garage also. since then (about 2 weeks) I have seen no more signs of mice in house or garage (droppings etc) although, we didn't see any signs in house anyway as we have 2 cats. The exterminator has now sealer the hole they made in garage so cannot get inside house from garage. So.. my question is, if I see no signs inside the house but they now can't access bait in garage, if they are in attic or walls will I see them coming out into house for food or can I assume they have found a way outside the house to survive? Shouldn't I see some signs in house if I have a problem or can they live in your house and go elsewhere for food? Sorry for the long question.
(not sure if it's relevant but we have only found 2, one was dead in washer and one was placed by my shoes as a gift from my cats - this is since seeing one in the garage over 2 months ago).
Thanks in advance.
