A weird question, but this seemed like the place to come. I'm trying to play a practical joke on a buddy of mine, who is mr tough guy except for when it comes to rodents.

I have some mice. I want to GET these mice to live and run freely INTO his apartment (and keep them there for at least a couple of days...enough to make him think he's going crazy). i want to do this wiithout leaving any obvious signs of how they got there -- NO planted crumbs, or obvious bait, etc, that will make him realize that someone may be tinkering in his place. is there something liquid or invisible or barely perceptible i could use to keep them interested in staying there (and not running next door)? or do you suggest another tacitc? i plan to surreptitiously let them loose from my backpack then next time i am over there hanging out, i just need to know that they'll stick around long enough for him to notice them a couple of times...

thanks a million!
