I appreciate your concern about the property, but that's not my concern now. There's nothing that can be done about the subsidence at this time. The place is probably going up for sheriff sale soon anyway. I just want the last few months in here to be without that &@$%$ in the wall.
I've opened the length of the wall, at a height of about 15 inches off the floor. I sealed every hole I could find with wire mesh and mortar, but the critter remains. I'm thinking theres an access to the underground between the pieces of stone, or perhaps on top of the bay window.
What do you think about placing a few of those bug bomb things in the wall, sealing it up and getting out of the house for a few hours? Of course, I'd extinguish all pilot lights beforehand. Maybe I can get lucky and see something escape from the area on the outside.
