Used the WD-40 in the holes. Had to do twice, but worked well. Used the kleenex method and had no removal of it, but found two males buzzing around the next morning. I examined the whole area thoughly. Pretty sure I didnt miss a hole. Are they new ones looking for sex? Does the nail polish on cotton balls act as a drione powder to kill the eggs if any in the holes? I dont want to seal the holes and then the eggs hatch and bore new ones! Does anyone suggest using wooden plugs or dowels instead of a wood putty? Thanks
