Hello,

Just yesterday I accidentally noticed some mouse droppings under my stove; I looked at the wall area behind the stove and there was a 1/2 inch gap between the floor and the wall..I could actually stick my hand in the opening;

I filled the opening, from the inside, very tight, with steel wool and I will get some duct tape to cover it all way around, on the inside of the house. I checked the basement and, looking up, all you see now is no gap but the steel wool.

I went to the crawl space this morning....and I placed D-Con pellets along the perimeter of the house, every 12-15 ft apart. I was hesitant about using poison at first but I read this D-Con poison is actually dehydrating the dead mice bodies so they do not smell in case they die in the walls of the house.

I intend to buy some D-Con of that bait pouches and place them on the outside of the house....here and there. I will buy some "Shake Away" rodent repellent [ made out of urine of some wild cat and fox] and I will place it along the walls, on the outside as well as along the walls, in the crawl space.

I looked around the house, there are no obvious signs of entry..brick house..all the crawl space vents looked OK.

Anything else would you suggest I do?

Thanks,
Nick
